History Of School
St. Vincent’s Convent School, Berhampur, Ganjam District, Odisha 760001 was founded in January 1954 by the Daughters of Charity of ST. Vincent De Paul. The management was then transferred to mother M. Gemma, B.S a Catholic religious Sister and Superior General of the Congregation of the Sisters of The Little Flower of Bethany, Mangalore on May 10, 1979 to cater to the educational needs of the locality. At present the School is administered by the Bethany Educational Society, Mangalore, a Christian Religious Minority Institution. Bethany Educational Society is registered under the society Registration Act XXI of 1860 No 17 of 1948-1949. Its head office is at Bethany Convent Mangalore. The society runs formal and non-formal educational institutions all over the country. The school is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination since 1972, Affiliation No. 299R/II-26 dated-06.04.1972 and the school is OR002.

St. Vincent’s Convent School under the able leadership of various Principals and the increasing strength of St. Vincent’s Convent School made Sr. Rose Margret the then Superior and Principal got a two storied school building constructed in 1988 with a spacious library and multipurpose hall. Sr.Alvina the Superior and Principal in 1992. The other Principals served St.Vincent’s Convent School were Late Sr. Olivetta, Late Sr Alvina- 1992, Sr.Marcelline Crasta- 1995 to 1998, Sr. Benedicta Casteilino 1998 to 2004 Late Sr.Innocelline 2004 to 2007, Sr.Sudha-2007 to 2011, Sr.Irene- 2011 to 2015, Sr.Roseline Clara-2015 to 2017, Sr.Oliva-2017 to 2018, and now Sr. Monthie Albuquerque-2018 to till date.
